a path through a forest

Welcome – I’m glad you’re here.

You might be here because something in your life feels difficult, confusing, or heavier than it used to. Perhaps you’re noticing patterns you don’t fully understand, or carrying thoughts and feelings that have been hard to talk about. Therapy can be a place to slow down and begin making sense of these experiences with someone alongside you. I enjoy meeting people as they are, not where they think they should be.

Therapy with me is a space where you can speak openly, reflect on what’s happening in your life, and explore things at your own pace. Sometimes that might mean untangling patterns, sitting with difficult emotions, or simply having somewhere to think things through with another person.

You don’t have to come with the right words — just as you are.

What I do.

In our work together, we’ll pay attention to what you’re experiencing now, as well as the experiences that may have shaped it. Often the patterns we find ourselves in today began as ways of coping with something earlier in life.

I’m interested not only in what you’re struggling with, but also in understanding why. This might include noticing the stories you tell yourself, the emotions that feel difficult to face, or the parts of yourself you’ve learned to keep hidden.

Our work is collaborative. I won’t tell you how to live your life or claim to have the answers. You are the expert in your own experience.

My role is to offer a thoughtful space where honesty is possible, uncertainty is welcome, and where we can gently explore what may be happening beneath the surface, at a pace that feels right for you.

Who I work with.

I welcome adults from all backgrounds who want a space to explore their experiences and understand themselves more deeply.

You might be struggling with relationships, identity, anxiety, low mood, life transitions, or simply a sense that something isn’t quite right – even if it’s hard to put into words. You don’t need to know exactly what you want therapy for. Sometimes things just feel “off,” and we can begin there.

Everyone’s needs are different, so I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy depending on what feels right for you.

Fees.

If you’re curious about working together, the first step is a free 20-minute conversation. There’s no pressure to commit, it’s just a chance to get a feel for each other, to see if I am the best person to support you, and for you to feel if working with me feels right.

Ongoing sessions are £40

Sessions last 1 hour and usually take place weekly. Some people come with something specific they’d like to talk about, while others arrive not quite sure where to begin. Both are welcome. We simply start with whatever feels most present for you that day.

About me,

Hi, I’m Sarah, a CPCAB-certified Humanistic Integrative therapist. I offer a thoughtful and honest space where we can explore what’s going on for you at your own pace. I’m comfortable sitting with uncertainty, difficult feelings, and the parts of life that don’t always have clear answers.

My approach is rooted in humanistic therapy, which means I believe people already carry a natural capacity for growth and understanding.

As an integrative therapist, I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on what feels most helpful for you.

At the heart of it, I genuinely value being able to sit with people as they make sense of their lives.

You’re welcome to get in touch below, even if you’re not sure what to say.
